A bit About Tessina

Interior styling and design runs in my blood, it is something that I was introduced to at a very young age. When I was young we immigrated from Germany to Canada, there my parents opened their interior design business, Lejeune Image Design and that is were my love for design got its roots.

I have spent my life traveling the world now visiting over 50 countries, through these travels I have absorbed the cultures, life styles and colors of these countries. I have used these experiences and now integrate them it into my interior styling using texture, warmth and depth.

My goal with my clients is to bring a sense of elegance and sophistication into a space, transforming it into something that is inviting and tells a story. It is very easy to buy pieces and put them into a blank room but that does not bring the soul into a room. My joy in interior styling is finding that soul and giving it a home.

I take pride in what I do and I love walking into space and seeing what I would do to give it life. A space has the chance to change dramatically when you allow a fresh set of eyes to look at it. What the warmth of soft lighting and plants or textures, colors and angles can bring to a space can transform it into your dream.

I am so grateful to take my passion for design and interiors and help my clients transfer there spaces into something that has beauty and soul.

What is a Stylist?

For me, being an interior stylist is taking a space – a blank room or something you’ve already started on – and bringing it to life. Every room and space needs to have its own identity, its own personality. Being an interior stylist is a lot like being a fashion stylist – I take what my client has and add depth, warmth, layers, colors and light to it. It can be hard for people to see the potential of a room – it may have great bones but without the right furnishing and decor, it is still just a room. As an interior stylist, I take the design and function of an already built space, and make it beautiful and welcoming for everyone to enjoy.
